The Blackduck Drakes topped the host Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Drakes now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laporte for a Northwoods test on Thursday, September 7. Blackduck will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Fosston (Fosston, MN). The Greyhounds enter the Pine to Prairie test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Fosston gained a win over Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] (Climax, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
