The Long County Blue Tide volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Brantley County Herons to 0 in the Blue Tide non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Tide now have a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Long County will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-18.
The Herons (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Cook dropped by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
