The Carlisle County Comets held off the visiting Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Comets now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fulton City for a District 1 test on Thursday, September 7. Carlisle County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

The Blue Tornado (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Calloway County was nudged by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
