With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL) to play the Aggies in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Sylacauga won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Shelby County (Columbiana, AL)

The Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Jacksonville for a 4A Area 10 bout on Thursday, September 7.
