The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) volleyball overcame the host Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Winfield-Mt. Union upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Wolves host Highland (Riverside, IA) to play the Huskies in a SEI - North outing on Thursday, September 7. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Highland lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wapello (Wapello, IA)
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. Columbus will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.
