With the win, St. Charles Catholic upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Comets host St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 0-6. St. Amant lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA)

The Wildcats now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to New Iberia for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. East St. John will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Academy of the Sacred Heart (Grand Coteau, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-2.
