In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Esko Eskomos volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines.

The Eskomos (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Rebels come into the Polar battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Moose Lake/Willow River lost by Barnum (Barnum, MN), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 7. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bluestreaks come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cherry (Iron, MN).
