The Schurr Spartans volleyball team (Montebello, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA)

The Gladiators (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Bellflower was nudged by Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the United Christian Academy Eagles (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Schurr will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over California Lutheran (Wildomar, CA).
