Nebraska High School Volleyball - Perkins County can't hold off Hitchcock County

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Hitchcock County Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Perkins County Plainsmen.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Maywood/Hayes Center nudged Maxwell (Maxwell, NE), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Plainsmen encounter the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Perkins County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE).
