The Philip Scotties volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Jones County Coyotes to 1 in the Scotties league victory on Tuesday.

The Scotties now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanley County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. Philip will encounter a Buffalos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Buffalos record now stands at 4-1.

Next, the Coyotes encounter the White River Tigers (White River, SD) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Jones County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
