The Pearce Mustangs volleyball team (Richardson, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX)

The Lions (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Lobos come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Little Elm was edged by Celina (Celina, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, September 8. Pearce will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX).
