The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Jackson, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Madison was dropped by South Gibson (Medina, TN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Memphis East will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Spring Hill (Columbia, TN).
