The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) and the visiting Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE), saw Minden's volleyball squad beat Shelton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Minden upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Whippets travel to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Phillipsburg 0-0 in their recent non-league bout against Trego (WaKeeney, KS)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Silver Lake for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Shelton will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.
