With the win, Moody upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Springville (Springville, AL) to play the Tigers in a 5A Area 11 bout on Thursday, September 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

The Thundering Herd now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Bessemer City for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. Parker will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
