The Wolves now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leverett's Chapel for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. San Augustine will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-15.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Splendora (Splendora, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Splendora was nudged by Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
