The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) and the visiting North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR), saw Thurston's volleyball squad beat North Salem by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Colts host Ashland (Ashland, OR) to play the Grizzlies in a 5A Midwestern bout on Thursday, September 7. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Vikings now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Salem for a 6A Central Valley bout on Thursday, September 7. North Salem will play a Saxons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over McNary (Keizer, OR). The Saxons record now stands at 4-1.
