In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) volleyball squad were winner over the host Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Trojans face the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) in a Class 4 Region 5 contest, on Thursday, September 7. Northeast Lauderdale will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record.
With the loss, Pelahatchie moves to 4-9 on the year. The Chiefs host Pisgah (Sandhill, MS) to face the Dragons in a Class 2 Region 6 contest on Thursday, September 7. The Dragons go into the contest with a record of 5-4.
