The Yorktown Wildcats volleyball team (Yorktown, TX), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX)

The Sharks (11-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 14-13 record. In their last challenge, Tidehaven defeated Louise (Louise, TX), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX).
