The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX) and the visiting Winona Wildcats (Winona, TX), saw Pittsburg's volleyball squad beat Winona by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 8-17 on the year. The Pirates travel to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-19. Prairiland lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Queen City (Queen City, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Harmony for a 3A Region II District 13 bout on Saturday, September 23.
