The Porterville Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Tulare Union The Tribe to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Pacific for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Porterville will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-4.

The The Tribe (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Firebaugh dropped by Liberty (Madera, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
