In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Queen City Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Prairiland Patriots.

The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region II District 14 battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, New Boston nudged Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Prairiland will attempt to advance on its 9-19 season record. The Pirates enter the test with a 3-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Winona (Winona, TX).
