South Carolina High School Volleyball - Sumter can't hold off Wilson Hall

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Wilson Hall Barons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sumter Gamecocks.

The Barons (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against South Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, South Florence was edged by Aynor (Aynor, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Gamecocks clash with the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 battle, on Thursday, September 7. Sumter will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
