The Herndon Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins to 2 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Alexandria City for a non-league outing on Monday, September 9. Herndon will play a Titans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Lake Braddock drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to play the Lions in a Patriot outing on Monday, September 9. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 2-1. Fairfax won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)
