California High School Football - Maranatha Christian knocked off by Hoover

September 5, 2024: San Diego, CA 92115

In Thursday's non-league game, the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) football team overcame the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 31-2.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 13. Hoover will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Aztecs enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 45-0 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA).

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Victory Christian Academy notched a victory over Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School (Temecula, CA), 62-38, in a non-league game.
