The Conant Cougars flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Maine East Blue Demons to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Conant will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 22-8 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Maine East drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blue demons host Niles North (Skokie, IL) to meet the Vikings in a test on Monday, September 9. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-1. Niles North lost 28-12 in their recent league test against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL)
