The Mullen Mustangs flag football squad scored 38 points and limited the host George Washington Patriots to 6 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smoky Hill for a 5A/4A Centennial test on Saturday, September 7. Mullen will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, George Washington drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Lincoln (Denver, CO) to meet the Lancers in a 4A City test on Saturday, September 7. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Lincoln lost 26-7 in their recent league test against Manual (Denver, CO)
