Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Carlsbad moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cavemen/Cavegirls host Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-0. Mayfield won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM)

The Hawks now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deming for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Centennial will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-7.
