Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders (St. Paul, MN) and the host Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN), saw Cretin-Derham Hall's soccer squad hold off Forest Lake by a count of 2-1.

The Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, St. Paul Academy-Summit tipped Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Rangers battle the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a Class AA Section 7 battle, on Saturday, September 7. Forest Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
