University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, University Heights advances its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Marshall County (Benton, KY) to clash with the Marshals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Marshals come into the test with a record of 7-2. Marshall County lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Murray (Murray, KY)

The Lyons now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crittenden County for a District 5 test on Tuesday, September 10. Lyon County will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to St. Mary (Paducah, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 2-5.
