The Bishop Montgomery Knights football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Compton Early College Rising Phoenix to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11.

With the defeat, Compton Early College drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rising phoenix host Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA) to meet the Falcons in a test on Wednesday, October 30. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-2.
