The Chippewa Hills Warriors felled the host Reed City Coyotes football team by a score of 24-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Chippewa Hills will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Newaygo (Newaygo, MI).

The Coyotes (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Cardinals go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Big Rapids toppled Fruitport (Fruitport, MI), 15-8, in a non-league challenge.
