In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Coastal Academy Stingrays football squad scored a decisive 32-0 triumph over the Southwest EC Eagles.
The Stingrays (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Monte Vista routed Kearny (San Diego, CA), 41-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 11. Southwest EC will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Scots come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 38-8 non-league win over Kofa (Yuma, AZ).
