Georgia High School Football - Eastside loses to Mary Persons

Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA), 24-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mary Persons advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Salem for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Eastside will play a Seminoles team coming off a 8-0 league loss to M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-2.
