The Murphy Bulldogs walloped the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets football team by a score of 40-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 41-6 non-league win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC).
The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
