The Roosevelt Bears walloped the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters football team by a score of 33-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears face the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 52-0 non-league loss to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI).
The Railsplitters (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trenton (Trenton, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Trenton was ripped by Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 28-6, in a non-league challenge.
