South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Loris Lions (Loris, SC), 28-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, South Columbus advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Stallions travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-0. East Bladen won 36-0 in their recent non-league battle against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

The Lions now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host North Myrtle Beach for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Loris will play a Chiefs team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-1.
