The Pioneers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to A.C. Reynolds for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Watauga will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Maiden drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12.
