The Statesville Greyhounds were victorious over the visiting South Iredell Vikings football team by a score of 40-22 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Greyhounds face the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Statesville will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Piedmont lost by Carson (China Grove, NC), 14-13, in a non-league challenge.
