In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Poway Titans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Granite Hills Eagles.

The Titans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Canyon Crest Academy was nudged by San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Santa Fe Christian Eagles (Solana Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Granite Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Del Norte (San Diego, CA).
