With the win, Saint Mary's improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA) to encounter the Bruins in a battle on Monday, September 9. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Jayhawks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripon Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. Head-Royce will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Enochs (Modesto, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-0.
