In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Greenville Comets soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 win over the Breese Central Cougars.

The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Centralia was overwhelmed by Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) outing, on Tuesday, September 10. Breese Central will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Marquette (Chesterfield, MO).
