Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) and the host Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), saw North Cross's soccer squad triumph over Carlisle by a count of 8-0.

The Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the Blue Ridge Athletic battle with a 6-0 record.

Next up, the Chiefs battle the Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 6. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
