Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Governor Mifflin advances its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Conestoga won 2-1 in their recent league test against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA)

The Buckskins now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Exeter Township for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Conestoga Valley will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Twin Valley (Elverson, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
