St. Francis de Sales Knights (Toledo, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Francis de Sales moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights host University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI) to meet the Cubs in a Catholic Central test on Thursday, September 12. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 0-4.
The Pilots now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. De La Salle Collegiate will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 league win over Clarkston (Clarkston, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-0.
