In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Elkins Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Lincoln Cougars.

The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Hoover by Winfield (Winfield, WV), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cougars play the Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 7. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Linsly (Wheeling, WV).
