With the triumph, Western Hills advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Scott County (Georgetown, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 5-3.

The Flyers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort for a District 41 test on Tuesday, September 10. Franklin County will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Danville (Danville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
