The Providence Catholic Celtics soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Glenbard South Raiders to 0 in the Celtics non-league victory on Thursday.
The Celtics now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Marian Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Providence Catholic will play a Spartans squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Glenbard South moves to 2-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to play the Lemont HS in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7.
