Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN), saw Heritage Hills's soccer squad hold off Princeton by a count of 1-0.

The Patriots (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen enter the Pocket battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Tell City tipped Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) in a Pocket battle, on Saturday, September 7. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 4-2 league win over South Spencer (Rockport, IN).
