Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Streator/Woodland Bulldogs (Streator, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lisle moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Kankakee (Kankakee, IL) to clash with the Kays in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Kays come into the test with a record of 1-2. Kankakee lost 1-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 6. Streator/Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Central (Burlington, IL).
