North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 5-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, North Yarmouth Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Freeport (Freeport, ME) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Hawks now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Dominic for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Sacopee Valley will clash with a Saints team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
